The funeral of William Wayne BECK, 43, of Pocahontas, Bond, Illinois, formerly of Saybrook, McLean, Illinois, who died after a one-car accident Friday evening March 28, 1986 near Pocahontas, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Stensel-Calvert-Belangee Funeral Home, Saybrook, with the Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saybrook, McLean, Illinois. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
William Wayne Beck was born May 18, 1942, at Arrowsmith, McLean, Illinois, the son of Lawrence William and Frances E (Outlaw) Beck. He married Nancy Irene Neumann April 26, 1970, at Mattoon, Coles, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Saybrook, Mclean, Illinois, two sons, Lawrence William and Randall Wayne, at home; three daughters, Andrea Lee, at home, Theresa Lawson, LeRoy, McLean, Illinois; and Tina Thompson, West Columbia, Richland, South Carolina, a sister Mary Ball, Saybrook, McLean, Illinois; and a grandson. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter.
William Wayne Beck was a truck driver and member of the Wesbein United Methodist Church, Saybrook, McLean, Illinois and the Teamsters Local at Champaign, Champaign, Illinois. Contributed by Gail Hutchcraft
